Export report to Excel, Word or PDF

Is there a way to export my task list (active and completed) to Excel, Word or PDF or even a CSV format? I would like to continue to use Todoist as my priority scheduling application, but I need to create a weekly report for my manager that I can post to a shared file location.

It is possible to export to a text file, but not to other file types. For further information, please see the questions posed at [http://todoist.com/Support/showQuestion/4023/] and [http://todoist.com/Support/showQuestion/4067/], although neither subject seems 'exactly' what you're looking to do (these Q&A refer to replicating a Project).

you should add this request to the votebox (https://todoist.com/Vote/). i can imagine that a number of people would like to see this implemented.

Hello Adrian,

We're sorry to hear that, but by the end of this month, Todoist will allow you to invite your colleagues into your projects, see your tasks, their status and collaborate on them (even delegate them).

I don't want others to access my projects. I need the ability to populate an excel spreadsheet that everyone in the department must use to track their projects.

I use Todoist to personally manage my to do list. Without the export, I need to re-enter each project in the spreadsheet.

Thank you for clarifying, we'll add better export and/or reporting options in future updates.

David, I am facing the same problem. Please add this export tool. It would help us a lot. Thanks.

Hi Karin,

Magi Metrics allows you to export your task lists from todoist (both archived and completed) to Excel. They provide both a Microsoft Excel and a Google Sheets version. To use it:

1. Go to http://www.magimetrics.com and create an account.

2. Select todoist and enter your todoist login details.

3. Either download the Microsoft Excel or install the Google Sheets version.

If you've chosen the Excel version, you will have a new tab in your ribbon. If you've chosen the Google Sheets version, it will be under Add-ons. You can pull your todoist task lists directly into your spreadsheet and refresh them.

Kind Regards,

Founder of Magi Metrics
