Todoist.com loads on browser, but windows and outlook apps don't connect
I get a "DNS name not resolved" on the windows app and the outlook plugin.
I connect using a proxy server from work. The web app loads on IE, FireFox and Chrome. (IE9).
Please try to go to the "Run" menu, type in:
and let me know if this solves this issue. If not, please try to connect directly (without a proxy server, if you have such option) and see if this helps. If not, please tell me - did you try to contact your system administrator at work to make sure if certain apps that connect to the internet are blocked?
I did this and it did not solve the problem.
Please tell me:
- Are you referring to the Windows app or the Outlook plugin (or any other plugin or extension from Todoist)?
- Are you using a proxy server to connect to the internet?
- Do you have any additional firewalls that may block a connection through the plugin and/or the desktop app?
- Are you online when this issue occurs?
Windows 7 app
no proxy server - through university
It was working 2 days ago with all of the same configurations.
No firewalls other than what might be standard with AVG antivirus.
I am online.
I just logged out and then relogged into the Win 7 App (via the right-click menu on the taskbar icon) and that seems to have fixed the problem.
