outlook.com calendar import problem

U

When i try to add the .ical feed url to my outlook.com account, it says: "This calendar wasn't updated because of a problem with the publisher's file (the file's events don't have UID properties). We'll try updating it again later." and no tasks are imported. The same url works fine in google calendar.

Hello Petr,

Unfortunately, some calendars may not support iCal feeds or certain iCal formats. If the calendar at Outlook.com work similarly to the Hotmail calendar then it may indeed not recognize our feed. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

We're currently working on our own calendar view within Todoist.

Best regards,
David

Hi, works well now, maybe there was a temporary problem? Actually I didn't change anything... Thanks anyway!

Do you know why I bought Todoist Premium ? For the sync with outlook calendar or Google Calendar !! So, it's very annoing that Todoist does'nt work with both !! You could have mention it in a notice or the video before to buy it !!

I'm pretty sure this should work. Can you help?

One big reason I chose Todoist, is to be able to view my tasks on my Outlook calendar. Todoist provides a nice, simple tutorial on how to accomplish this. However, when I have attempted it today, I get an error message from Outlook that says, "Cannot verify or add the calendar to Outlook. Mare sure the following link is a valid calendar link: webcals://ext.todoist.com/Export/icalTodoist?user...etc...

Can you help me?

Hi Dana,

Which version of Outlook are you using? You did copy the URL exactly as it is in the Settings area? As it should be https:// instead of webcals.

Also, you have the option to download the file and import it that way, does this still cause an issue?

Thanks,
Brendon.
