Open outlook emails from other todoist plugins

It seems like it should be possible to open outlook emails from the standalone app (or chrome plugin) that were added to a todo item with the outlook plugin. Is there a technically reason why this hasn't been added yet?

The standalone program and chrome plugin works much better than the outlook plugin, so sometimes I prefer to use those...but, half of my tasks are usually emails.

Hello Scott,

Thank you for your feedback. We're currently exploring an option to make these links work from within our Windows app.

The reason why this doesn't work in general is because we use custom links to an ID of a message and the browser plugins (for example) don't understand this link (it's not a http link).

If you would like to access the messages you add without a link and have the entire message as a task note, please try to forward the messages to your Todoist projects (this won't require the use of the Outlook plugin). Both options of managing your inbox with Todoist have been described in detail on our blog: http://todoist.com/blog/2013/01/zero-inbox-policy-with-todoist/

Best regards,
