Why does Google Cal only sync to Todoist 1x per day?

This defeats the purpose of having my tasks show up on Gcal in the first place. I move tasks around and add them all the time, I need to see them on my calendar accurately each time I go to look at it.

I understand it is most likely Gcal's fault not Todoist's, but just curious if there is any information on the reason for this, or if we know whether or not this will change anytime soon.

Hello Megan,

Unfortunately, we don't know what was the reason for Google to make such decision. Apparently it's been like this for years and frustrated many Google users, but nothing has been done about it so far.

We will try to find a workaround to somehow force Google to resync the feed, but we're currently working on our own calendar module within Todoist which will give you a calendar-like overview of your tasks without having to use the iCal feed.

Best regards,

Look forward to seeing this. A todoist self made calendar is a must for me. I need a way to see the project colour coding as a bar of colour over the task writing so I can quickly see in the calendar what the task relates to. Currently all tasks in ipad calendar and gcal show in same colour. A todoist calendar with colour coding would put you ahead of the pack. Pete Edmunds

Oh Yeah!

Thats what I really miss from Todoist, the own calendar module!
