Hello Roushdy,

Unfortunately, we can't recommend you any particular calendar software, but please check if the calendar you're interested in supports the iCal standard to sync your tasks.

We will soon implement our own calendar module within Todoist.

What's the timeline on your calendar module? I am looking forward to it.

Hello Will,

We're working on it, but unfortunately, we can't give you any timeframe on when it will be ready for release. We always try to make each feature the best we can, make sure it won't be buggy, but it takes time and makes it very difficult to predict when it will be finished, but it will be worth the wait :)

Best regards,

This would be awesome. This is by far the greatest todo app. Thank you!

Can you all at least say which calendars don't have the google calendar problem of only syncing once a day? I would like it if there would be more flexibility on what sycned through Ical. For example, having it where it only syncs certain priority tasks, or it puts the todoist tasks after the other calendar entries rather than before.

Any thoughts?

I agree that this is the best to do app (for me anyway).

Thank you!

There is no way to customize the iCal feed, but then only calendar that has this issue is Google Calendar. You can add our iCal Feed to almost any calendar you want, and it should update instantly.

I can say that the iCal feed DOES update very quickly in Outlook 2010 and 2013 (desktop, not Office365).

It's not perfect, but I can at least see what day a task belongs to in the context of the rest of my calendar, and it updates quickly when I update the task in Todoist.

Unfortunately, with the iCal solution it's not a two-way update, but that is the nature of the beast, and it's certainly going to be better once Todoist's native calendar is available, whenever that occurs...
