Hello,

If you've completed a parent task then all its sub-tasks will be completed as well, but you can un-complete the entire structure by clicking on the "Get completed tasks" link at the bottom of your task list within a project.

If you complete a single sub-task, it stays on the list, but is grayed out. It can be un-completed anytime. If you hold the SHIFT key while checking off a sub-task, then it will also be moved to the "Get completed tasks" list at the bottom and can be un-checked there.

If you're experiencing a different issue, you can send a screenshot showing it to david@doist.io

Best regards,
David

Hi, I have a question: How can I make a subtask in on-line (on webpage) version? I can't find a button "change the level" (or something like that). There are only two buttons "flag" and "importance".
By the way, do I have "change the level" in Windows version?
Best regards.

Hi,

You can use any of the following method to create a sub-task in the web and the Windows app:

1. Use the last two button below the due date field
2. Use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+Right/Left Arrow key (or CMD+Right/Left Arrow key)
3. Hover on a task, grab the handle, and drag the task to right to change the sub-task level

Regards,
Clyde

Thanks! You are right!
I've found a difference!!! The methods (all 3 methods you told me) are available when you are watching one project.
But when you are in "today: todoist" or "7 days : todoist" mode, abilities are not available. But that's OK.
Thanks!
