Windows Phone 8

C

When are you guys going to have a Windows Phone application? I just got a Todoist accoutn (the data analytics features of the Karma really interest me as an organized individual) and I would LOVE to be able to sync my lists across my Chromebook and Windows Phone (Lumia 920). I wish I had an Android Phone but I don't... Are you guys going to help me out?!!?!?

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback, we will certainly consider developing a Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 app in the future. For now, you could try to use the mobile version of Todoist at http://todoist.com/m or access the full web-app at http://todoist.com/m/forceRegular - it's fully HTML5 compatible and should work correctly on mobile browsers.

Also, you're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/558/

Best regards,
David

Actually, how about you combine the WP7 & 8 together, only seems fair.

Yeah.

Compatibility with WP7 doesn't sound far off if we would consider developing a WP8 app in the future :)

Thanks for the suggestion,
Brendon.

Agree. I need a fast-moving native app, not a mobile browser site. I like the premise of Todoist and would subscribe, but a platform that's not on both Win8 and WP8 is useless to me.

A Windows 8 app would be cool - especially if it translates to a Windows Phone 8 app.

I'll help with beta testing! :)

I am now switching from doit.im to some windows phone capable GTD. Your interface is by far the best, the app is only missing.
Do You have an API, because I am considering writing a simple app ?

If you're on Windows Phone 8.1, try my unofficial Todoist client - http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=27df1046-6e00-4c06-ae1c-2ded743a0d80

No progress with the windows phone app now for almost 18 months, as soon as wunderlist app for windows phone is launched I'm switching back, given up waiting for todoist to get this sorted.

Try the unoffical app above, way better than Todoist Lite.
And don't bother with Wunderlist, been there with Windows Phone 8.1 and RT on the tablet, useless sync capability.

TaskCrunch by Jan Kratochvíl is great, much better than Todoist Lite or the Mobile webversion

Thanks for giving TaskCrunch a try, glad you like it :-)

Shameless plug follows:
I'm currently working on enabling location-based notifications.
I'm getting pretty close to having feature parity with the official app on Android and already have some feature that even the official apps can't do (such as task batch operations). Plus, a whole bunch of live tiles :-).

Cheers,
Jan

Lack of a native windows 8 app is forcing me not to use todoist. I need something I can access easily on my surface. Using the windows desktop version it shows up way too small on the screen, and the browser version just isn't convenient enough.

I'm using wunderlist for now, which is a pain because it doesn't have the zapier integration to sync with my asana account.

Your big selling point is that you work across all platforms but you're missing a big one.

Disappointed.
