Does the Android app have persistent reminders?

Is there the option to remind for overdue tasks / have persistent reminders:

If I have a daily recurring task with a reminder for 5 p.m., if I clear the notification, but don't complete the task, will Todoist remind me in a few hours that I still haven't completed that task?

Hello Knope,

This depends on a couple of factors:

1. If it's a default "30 minutes before" reminder set automatically to every task that has a due time (such as "ev day at 5pm") then it may not remind you anymore once this time passes.

2. If you've added the reminder manually as an absolute reminder by typing <remind ev day at 5pm> within the task's name then it will occur regardless of the status of the task. You can add multiple reminders to one task, right-click on it on the web-app and go to the "Reminders" menu to add more.

3. If you're using Jelly Bean (Android 4.2), you'll have the option to "Snooze" a reminder in which case it will recur after a certain time that can be configured in the app's settings.

Best regards,

Can I request a feature to have an option to make reminders really persistent please. i.e. if the reminder hasn't been acknowledged after the snooze period, then ding and vibrate again.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the suggestion! We'll consider adding an option for this in the future. :-)
