How can I change the hot key combination for the Windows app?

FP

Todoist for Windows does a global capture on Ctrl-Alt-T. Is there anyway to change this or disable it?

Hello Fred,

Yes, you can set any key combination as a global shortcut for Todoist. To do so, please click on the TD icon in the notifications area (system tray) and choose "Configuration" then click on the shortcut you want to change and press the new key combination you want to use.

Best regards,
David

I tried going to System Preferences and clicking on the notifications icon, and todoist wasn't on my list in notifications. Am I in the right place? I'm on a Mac, if that makes a difference.

Hi Nancy,

To change the quick add for OSX, on the top right menu bar, the TD icon, click on it, then choose "Mac App Peference" and from there you can change your shortcut. You click on the shortcut already there, and type the new one.

Brendon.

Hi,
I want to turn off shortcut key for the windows-app completely! (windows 7).
How do I do that?

Øyvind.

Hello Øyvind,

Unfortunately, that's not possible directly, but if you right-click on the red TD icon in the system tray and go to Configurations, you can change the keyboard shortcuts to some very difficult key combination which you'll probably never use (for example - Ctrl+Alt+Shift+).

Regards,
David

Hi!

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, that is what I actually did.
