Windows XP - Outlook 2007

CM

Downloaded the desktop app today 14th March after finally ditching Todo. Was really look forward to an app that would sync with Outlook.
Nothing happened in Outlook. Scrolled through previously asked q's and went through process in Outlook - Re: add-ins. Todoist appears unchecked. I check > close outlook and re-open, still nothing. Followed process again, and restart PC, still nothing. Have manually tried to launch Todoist add-in, still not resolved.

I'm using Windows XP (SP2) Outlook 2007

Thanks
Chris

Hello Chris,

We're sorry for the inconvenience, we're working on this issue right now and we'll soon release an updated version addressing this problem.

Also, to make sure that you're experiencing the same issue, please clarify - when you check off "OutlookTodoist" in the Add-ins menu, do you see an error message saying: "Not loaded. The Managed Add-in Loader failed to initialize"?

Best regards,
David

I am getting the following message from the same problem:

"Not Loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in."

Hello,

Although so far we weren't able to reproduce this issue, we've made a new version of our plugin with a built-in error reporting system. Please download and install it from this location: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/6d48d3aaeb65b9bca3dc3068008d08ec/as/OutlookTodoist.RC.exe and if you'll see any error during installation or activation of the plugins, please agree to send an error report to us.

Best regards,
David

Please try to uninstall it and install this version: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/4213960e2dd34efbcebad4fee1d4d855/as/OutlookTodoist.RC.exe it's the latest pre-release build including all the necessary components required to run it and let us know if the issue persist in this version.

Best regards,
David
