Windows API

U

Hi..

Currently working on a BMS for the work place and wouldl like to add a Task/ToDoList addin. This would then sync to other mobile devices.

Do you have any VB.Net / C# API and examples to allow access to the ToDo system.

Thanks

Richard

Hello Richard,

We have an API and you're welcome to use it for a Todoist-based app. The only restriction is that you cannot name the app you create "Todoist".

You can find the documentation for our API here: https://todoist.com/API/help we recommend to use the new "Sync API v2".

Best regards,
David

Richard,

Unfortunately, we don't offer full support for third-party development. We've explained how every call that's possible through our API works and you're welcome to choose any method you prefer do develop a Todoist-based app.

Best regards,
David

Since this thread is present in search results, I'll just add that I have found a C# (.NET) wrapper for the API on CodePlex (the name is "The C# Todoist API") and I could successfully access some of my data using it (in April 2014).

From what I understand this is not any officially released APIs, and it might not be up-to-date, but it's simple enough to see what's happening and build your C# solutions upon it or just pick some functions you need and copy it to your project :)
