Hello Marie,

The API token accessible in Settings -> Account is used to allow a Todoist account to communicate with our API. It's used for authentication if you'd like to create a Todoist-based app.

Is this needed to use TD with Outllok? I installed the Outlook app but after instalation the TD window appeares but I can't add anything neither see tasks already created in windows app or web

Maybe your company is using proxy? Could you please try to click on the small arrow icon under the red "Create task" button at the top and set a default proxy there?

The Auo-detect procy box is checked. I changed connection to my mobile and nothing happens. I believe is no a proxy issue
I insalled firs the windows app and then de outlook one.
Never was asked to login or enter any token

We are now investigating the issue brought with the latest update.

Would it be possible for you to test this build of the Windows app? It's not an installer, just extract the contents to C:\Program Files (x86)\Todoist

This version 2.7.1 for Windows works ok, just as I did before. The one not working (still blank) is the outlook one. After installing outlook app, don't I need to login or type in a token or something?

It should allow you to log in without API token.

Could you please try to send us the logs? They can be found here: C:\Users[username]\AppData\Local\Todoist\Outlook\ Zip/archive every file except for the cache folder, so that we can pass it to our developers for investigation.

Thanks! I have now passed it to our developers. In the meantime, please try ti set "no proxy" in the settings just to see if it makes any difference.

No, it didn't. Just to complement the information -maybe is relevant- I have 2 email accounts in Outlook, one of them being the one I use with TD. Both are Gmail but one is a corporate mail with our own domain.

I did and didn't worked, even though I uninstalled boht windows and outlook apps and reinsalled again in that order.

I will. Can you please confirm me that he installation process I follwed was correct and nothing is missing on it

1. I downloaded and installed windows TD app
2. I regisered with my work email which is a corporate gmail one
3. I closed outlook
4. I downloaded and installed outlook TD
5. I launched Outloo (a windows saying there was a new TD version appeared but I didn't installed)
6. TD is blank

Yes, the process seems to be right. Please now try to uninstall the current Outlook version and install the build I've provided. When done, open Outlook and let us know if the Todoist plugin in Outlook is still blank.

Galina,

Fisrt the blue screen appeared preventing me of installind due to possible risks. I decided to insall anyways and then the currupted file window showed up. I attach images of both (sorry one is in spanish)

Hi Galina,

It´s me again. I uninsalled both windows and outlook apps and reinsalled only outlook.

I'm never requesed to login. How can it sybc if never logged in? Looks like something is missing or Todoist works only whe outlook has only one emai account -I have 3.7

Look at the image atached, TD logo on the task banner is grey instead of red.
