Google Chrome app and labelling

I tried adding a Google mail task via the Google Chrome app, the task shows up after a little delay, but the label didn't show.

Hello Serena,

Please tell me:
- Where exactly did you put the label within the task name? When you add an email as a task, it adds a long string of text into the task within [[ double brackets ]] The label must be added either at the beginning before the opening brackets or at the end after the closing bracket?
- Was this a new label or one that you've just created?
- What was the name of this label, did it contain any special characters?

Best regards,

The label was after all the double brackets, I made sure of that.

I had added the email task first, saved it, then went and added an existing label afterwards.

It would seem that what happened was the Todoist Google Chrome "pop up" closed as soon as I finished typing and pressed enter. As such, it didn't have enough time to load the new info onto the server.

As long as I wait for the Todoist extension to completely load my changes, then it would be fine.

Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this issue even when instantly closing the extension. It uses offline cache so every change is stored locally even if it won't be synchronized with the server right away.

Please tell me - are you sure that the task was saved? If you type in an existing label manually, you need to use Enter twice or add a space after the label otherwise the first Enter will only confirm the selection of this label from the auto-complete drop-down menu, but won't actually save the task.

Best regards,
