want to add a subtask when I used in "q:task name"


Hi David,

Could I add a subtask when I used search function?

like as type search world "q:cell" ,

and I want to add a task to subtask.

Hello Hank,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to add sub-tasks in search results. All tasks listed there are shown regardless of their indent level so some of them may already be sub-tasks. This makes altering the indent levels on these pages impossible.

However, when you view a search result page, you can click on the name of the project on the right side of the task name and this will bring you to this project, center the screen on the task you were looking for and shortly highlight it. This way you can quickly find it within the project, right-click on it and choose "Add task below".

Now,I wound't worry how to find the task by scan these many tasks!
