It is very important to have an opportunity to print tasks from one or several projects in easy and representative way. Please, and Print function.
You can print any page you see on Todoist. To do so, simply click on the gear icon in the top-right corner and choose "Print current page" from the drop-down menu.
OK. Thank you.
Are you able to print a single task?
It is possible to print one task if you search for it. You can use the q: query and a word that only this one task contains and then when you use the Print option, only this task will be shown and printed.
I was surprised to find that I couldn't print a single task with Notes. I found this thread and tried your instructions - it worked once I was able to use the right word combo to only have the desired task show up in the query. There must an easier way. Since this post was from January, I thought it was worth asking if perhaps this option has become more streamlined? I couldn't find any other threads that answered my question. Thanks, David!
The only way to print just one task is indeed looking for a specific word which only this task contains and use the q: syntax to find it as it will search for a match rather than other similar words.
You could use a trick to get it to work - use any query you like to find the task, then when you find the one you need, edit its name by adding something very unique like "abcdefgh" and then search just for that. If you find it, delete this part and print the page.
Thanks for the suggestion. Is a print task option a potential addition?
As always - it's possible, but until now we haven't considered it as one cask can be simply copy pasted and printed out even with the Notepad or from anywhere else, but if it has a lot of notes, we can see why it would be beneficial to have such option. I had tried to copy & print from my selection but it only picks up what is visible on the screen. I do find that if I copy the task with the Notes open, it will pick them all up. From there I can open another application, paste the selected text, and print from there. Some of the formatting is a little off, but it is a viable workaround. Thanks again, David.
