Priority ordering

DD

FYI, on my dashboard, items are correctly ordered by date and then priority for today except priority 2 appears above priority 1. For other days, it appears out of order. Not a biggie, but wanted to point it out.

today, overdue appears, for example:

Yesterday
p4
p2
p1
p3

Today
p2
p1
p3
p4

I can produce a screenshot if desired, if that would help.

All the best,

Dave

Hello Dave,

Please try to log out, clear your browser's cache and Todoist's offline data (may need to be done manually in some browsers), reload the browser, log back in and let me know if the issue persists.

If it does, please tell me:
- Are you using any specific due times with tasks (such as "today at 12:20")?
- Have you ever moved a task on the today/7 days view manually?

If you have due times, tasks will be primarily sorted by time, not priority. Please try to reorder the priorities in the correct order and any new task should be added to the correct spot from now on.

Best regards,
David

That's true I also have that. In Today and 7 days view Red first (1) then bright blue (3) than Dark blue (2).

Btw, can we alter the colours please? I prefer P1-red P2-Yello P3-Green (make sense ain't it? :-))

Tomer,

If you've followed the instructions above to no avail, please tell me:
- Are you using any specific due times with tasks (such as "today at 12:20")?
- Have you ever moved a task on the today/7 days view manually?

If you have moved tasks manually, please try to reorder them manually again otherwise the order of priority-based task will be remembered and every new task will be added according to the order you've set.

Best regards,
David

- For some I use specific due times (I can see it brings it always up, regardless of priority) but the problem is actually with those without due times.

- I did move it manually in the today view, why not?
Still funny behavior we are referring to is when we change priority for a task from P3 to P2 but for some reason it jumps above P1 tasks...
Manually it was below them (p1 tasks) before, so after the change of priority I would expect it to either stay in place or be below the P1 tasks, as they are obviously at a higher priority than P2, and therefor should be above.
