Tasks suddenly duplicated overnight
I logged in this morning as usual, except to find I had 27 tasks due for today instead of two. The last task I entered last night somehow got duplicated 26 times, and the other task I entered last night also got duplicated, 36 times. So instead of 2 tasks due, I had 62. This was not the case last night before I logged out, so its obviously some kind of bug that wants me overworked!!
The same thing happened to me last night. I had two tasks that multiplied overnight - one 80 times, the other one 20 something. I was using the online version of Todoist.
On the upside, deleting all the extras made me look wicked productive today! ~100 tasks completed!
The same thing happened to me last night. Several tasks that I added late in the day Thursday were duplicated 20 times each?

Note sure if this was fixed, but today my Todoist is doing the same thing (duplicating one item 20+ times on list). How can I fix this?
This issue has been fixed already and unfortunately, it's been caused by a short outage a couple of days ago, we're very sorry for the inconvenience. Please tell me - when exactly did your task duplicate? Did you use Todoist in the recent days and you're sure that this issue occurred today?
If so, please tell me:
- What devices are you accessing Todoist on?
- Are you always working with it online or offline?
I just checked it today, so you are right it may have happened over the weekend. Here is the other info:

It was only the tasks I added the day before that multiplied overnight.
I was working in the online todoist, in Firefox, on a Mac.
The same thing happened to me last night - just opened my account now. I am using GoogleChrome.
Please tell me:
- How are you accessing Todoist? Only through the web or also through our mobile apps?
- Was there anything specific that you did that you think might have triggered this issue? For example, did you access your tasks offline?
I normally use the mobile version as well, but not in this instance as I am travelling overseas. So the only version that was active and open was the one on Chrome. I did access/add tasks while offline but I have done that in the past and I have not had this before. I don't really recall anything unusual about using it yesterday.
