Thunderbird app not synching dates and tasks correctly
I have the Mac app on my Macbook and iPhone. These are synchronising perfectly.
However, I also have the Thunderbird app which does not work reliably with either of the above mentioned apps.
1) With two Parent tasks A and B, I then create a new sub-task for A underneath B and drag it up the sub-task does not synch to iPhone or OSX app.
2) The date of Parent task A seems to toggle strangely. Firstly, the date is not synched from Thunderbird to the iPhone or OSX app. Then when I change the date in the OSX app for Parent task A, in Thunderbird the date disappears.
Please tell me, after you make changes through the Thunderbird app, do you manually resync your tasks on the iPhone app?
Also, can you reproduce the same issue when repeating the same steps, but through the full web-app?
I tap the synch button on the iPhone, and the first time the sub-tasks from Parent A, which were visible from Thunderbird, were not visible on the iPhone.
I found that if I have the OSX app and the Thunderbird app or the Chrome app open together this problem occurs. By having only one open, the problem stops.
Now I've also logged out of each one, and back in again which may help. It's also the first time I've used the app, and I became a Premium member so it could be that this caused some of the issues.
I will let you know if there's any further problems.
Another thing I've just noticed. The productivity widget is updated on my Chrome app, but it's not synched across to the Thunderbird app.
Yes, I just logged out and logged in again. There does seem to be a problem with synch, even when I hit the manual synch it doesn't work... but when I log out and in again it does work.
OK. I've updated my To Do and added a few more for 10am tomorrow. These do not synch with my Google Calendar.
Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. If you've subscribed to Premium, please make sure that you log out and back in through every platform you've used Todoist on incl. the iPhone app.
As for the Google Calendar issue - this is unfortunately a problem on Google's side - they're syncing iCal feeds once a day. Our feed is updated instantly and you can see the changes when using it with any other calendar software except Google Calendar. We hope Google changes it in the future.
