Ridiculously simple question, but I can't find the answer:
How to mark tasks complete.
To complete a task, simply click on the check-box on its left side. Every task that doesn't have an asterisk * in front of its name has a check box on the left side (before its name starts) which you can click on to complete it.
Thank you for your prompt reply! I should have used the term "project."
I noticed that when I choose a project that the tasks are listed along with the check boxes, but once I have completed all the tasks how do I indicate that the project is complete?
Project cannot be completed in Todoist, but you can archive them instead. To do so, right-click on a project and choose "Archive" from the context menu.
What is the difference between Archive and History? If I Archive a Project, does that simply move all the Tasks to History?
Single tasks can be moved to history. If you complete a task, it goes to the "Get completed tasks" list at the bottom of each project.
If you archive a project, the project itself goes to the "Archive" list (below your active projects list), but there are no changes made to the tasks within it so tasks that are within this project's "Completed" list stay there and active tasks remain active. You can unarchive a project anytime and everything within it will stay as it was when you've archived it.
Thanks for the quick response David.
There are no check-boxes on the left side of tasks to mark the task "completed," and I don't have any astericks in front of the tasks. There used to be check boxes on the left, but there are none now. How do I mark a task as completed?
Nevermind, I figured out how you changed it.
