How can I remove the TD icon from my desktop menu bar?

You put it there automatically and I'm not seeing anywhere to remove it in the app preferences or in my system preferences.

Please tell me - are you referring to our Windows or Mac app or any of our browser plugins? Where exactly do you see this icon (you're welcome to send a screenshot to david@doist.io )?

Best regards,

Same here, Mac Version. There's an option to hide it from the dock, but not for the menu bar.

Unfortunately this isn't possible to change, this is where Todoist sits and can be controlled. It works in the same way Dropbox or other apps work.

Is there a chance that we could be able to take it out from there in the future?

Everyone here no doubt has the same problem as I, in that I want to keep the amount of items in that bar as low as possible.

I close Todoist after I've written a note so that I don't have that clutter up there all the time.

You can use Bartender to remove the app icon.

Bartender is the way to go on this one.
