Hello Jiri,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to import or export your tasks from or to Toodledo or RTM at the moment, but we may consider adding such option in the future.

Best regards,

an import/export function (toodledo ...) would be great and makes it easier for all users like me to change. With over 120 Tasks and plans running its no way to change. Sorry.

But great App anyway. Love it at first sight!

I really wish this feature was available. Todoist offers an API, I'm really tempted to write my own program to do this.

I agree that this is a needed feature. I'm searchng for a new to do app since Astrid has gone away and Todoist is in the running. Having this feature would make things much easier to switch and might cement my decision about making todoist as my go to to do app.

Want to move from Toodledo to Todoist. Don't ask but got 600 items to import. I cannot do this with copy/paste because i am using labels, due dates and notes for each item.

I have 100s of tasks in toodledo. There's no incentive to switch without decent import , why would I want to input all my tasks again. I urge you consider this to encourage switching from other apps

I am facing the same issue folks... I gradually migrate from Toodledo as time passes by: delete toodledo per one I create in Todoist.

Has anyone used Zapier? It's a handy automation tool - if-this-then-that (more professional than ifttt.com)

I used that when I wanted to duplicate Calendar events to Toodledo and vice-versa.

I suppose someone could export all the tasks from the Toodledo calendar, import them to a new one that will be monitored by Zapier, and then Zapier can create a mail/Todoist trigger per new event.

You could configure your triggers to match the folder/list so that different todoist project's email address could be used.

Go to zapier.com for a free account, or use the referral to gain more "zaps" than the default option ;-) http://zpr.io/PYs9

On another topic, export the toodledo tasks and "manipulate" them to be as a Todoist template project and import them. I might get the chance to do that.

How many people would benefit from that? :-)

Try https://todoport.com - you can migrate to/from Todoist, Toodledo, or Google Tasks.

That tool rocks!! Now that's what I am talking about. Didn't check the details in the tasks yet. I have now a total of almost 700 tasks in my inbox. As for performance reasons Todoist only can handle up to 200 tasks in a project. So I have to maintain and tidy up now. However, all my Toodledo tasks are in Todoist now... finally. Thanks for the hint!

Uwe, just FYI Todoport hasn't been tested with very large inboxes (yet!) so you might run into problems. Use the Uservoice 'bubble' on the site if you do have an issue.

I did and everything went fine so far. It migrates X hundreds of tasks into
Todoist (from Toodledo as I did) but you can't add more tasks to your inbox
manually afterwards but have to migrate that first. Didn't figure out yet
how to do that in a bulk action.
