todoist 2.5 macApp not running

I just installed the 2.5 macApp and it no longer gets past the three dot progress bar after launch. I can see the todoist app window, but it's stuck at the progress bar.

I was on 2.1 and it wouldn't update, so I uninstalled 2.1 and did a full update to 2.5. I have used AppCleaner to uninstall it and reinstalled only to find the same behavior.

Love the product, but I'm back to having to use the browser on mac. It would be nice to get this working again.

My mac specs are below.

I have the same situation. The first time I ran it I got a window with the days of the list. I redownloded it by mistake and threw out my copies. I opened the new one and I get those three dots and it is stuck. I followed instructions above, but at least in Mac 7.5 the list does not look like that one. There is no sync, log out, or reload.
All I have is: preference, update, services, hide tidiest, hide others,
quit todist.

I'll try to reboot computer. That may help.

Hello Ellen,

Please tell me - are you using the latest Todoist for Mac app installed from this location: http://todoist.com/mac on Mac OS 10.7?

okay. what I did was I deleted everyfile associated with the app. because it still didn't work after rebooting computer. Then I reinstalled the app and yes it now works. 2.5 I believe is the latest app version. Now I have another situation. In trying to figure out how to use it. I went to where it said add a project. So I did, but it was spelled wrong (typo) so I tried to delete it or correct it and I cannot find any way to do that. It certainly is not transparent. I don't understand why some of these apps are so difficult to figure out. If this one doesn't get easier, I'm gonna trash it. I just don't have time for guessing games. Any suggestions?

Hello Ellen,

To edit a project name, click on "Show Projects" at the top and then right-click on the project name and choose "Edit project".

You're welcome to access your Todoist account through the full web-app at todoist.com to get familiar with the basic project and task structure of our service.

Best regards,
