Hello Dmitriy,

Todoist should work through a standard HTTP or HTTPS connection. Please try to open the ports: 80, 8080 and 443 for it.

Best regards,
David

Hello, David.
Thank you for the answer.
My provider use a proxy server . I just have a login and password.
When I use my browser, I have every session to login to the proxy. Can I configure a Todoist for Windows for login in the same way?

Hello Dmitriy,

We've released a new version of our Windows app which should fix this issue. Please uninstall the old one through the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs (or "Programs & Features"), then download and install the new version from http://todoist.com/windows and let me know if the issue persists.

Best regards,
David

Hello David,

I installed version 2.1 but problem still actually. In program window is the message:

ERROR

Cache Access Denied.

The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: http://win.todoist.com/main?

Cache Access Denied.

Sorry, you are not currently allowed to request http://win.todoist.com/main? from this cache until you have authenticated yourself.

Is it possible to add to Todoist configuration proxy settings (login and password)?
Proxy settings is present in all browsers, Skype etc.

Hello Dmitriy,

We're sorry to hear that. According to the developers, this version of the Windows app utilizes Internet Explorer's proxy settings. Please try to configure it from there (try to log in through IE and see if the settings will be remembered in the Windows app) and let me know if it works.

Best regards,
David

David,
IE remember my login and password, but Todoist do not utilize Internet Explorer's proxy settings. May be problem is in my security settings? I think that adding these settings in a Todoist program can resolve this.

Please ignore my previous message, I have fixed the issue by setting the IE proxy parameters.

Thanks,
Hatem

In my opinium , Todoist must have to be like Skype proxy configuration, with server/name and ports.

I have similar problem, in my company the proxy uses an authentication and Todoist for Windows appear to not support the authentication process. There is something I can do to make it work?

Hello Andre,

If your proxy is set as a system proxy, then you can use the "default proxy" setting, though if you need the proxy to be application-specific, that's not something we're currently supporting, unfortunately :-(

David

Ok, but even using default proxy, the authentication screen (user and password) don't appears to me, so proxy block the web traffic for Todoist application. Authenticated proxies are supported or not?

Hi Andre,

Could you please try to install this test version to see if the issue still persists there?

Make sure to delete the app and cache before that and make sure that proxy settings are set to autodetect?
