Is there a way to set new tasks to auto create a reminder or a keyboard shortcut to create a reminder from within Outlook pluggin?

Hello Phil,

If you log into the web-app, click on the gear icon in the top-right corner, choose Settings and go to the "Reminders" tab, you can set a default method of receiving reminders. Once you do, every task you create with a specified due time (for example: "ev day at 2pm") will have a reminder set to it automatically to 30 minutes before deadline.

You can also add a reminder to a specified time by typing <remind tom at 10am> within the task name.

Best regards,

Dear Todoist Staff,

I tried typing <today at 4.30pm> and <remind today at 4.30pm> within the task name, but the task is created without reminder.

Is there a way to set reminder in keyboard shortcut.

I also tried today @ 4.30 pm in the date and time section, but the default reminder is set as 30 minutes before i.e. 4 pm.
I do not want a reminder before 30 minutes I want it only at 4.30 pm.

Is there a way we can set the same with keyboard shortcut.

With Regards

Hi Balaji,

Typing the due date in the task name is not a supported feature. To easily set due dates and time, please create a task and press tab after you're done entering the task name. That will bring you to the due date field wherein you can start typing the due date and time.
