Why do I not have premium even though I've paid for it?
I have paid for ToDoist Premium, but the premium functions do not appear when I open my account. There is a link that says, updrade to premium and when I go there, it says I have paid for premium until April 2012.
How to get I get the premium function that I paid for?
I also cannot access premium features even though I paid today (12/6).
I cannot add emails from Gmail into TD... without that functionality the software is useless to me.
I found the problem with the email link not appearing.. i was using a split screen in Gmail and apparently TD does not support that Gmail view.

According to our database, both of you have an active Premium account.
Please log out and back in and if this won't help, log out, clear your browser's cache, reload the browser and log back in.
The "Upgrade to Premium" link is permanent. You can check if you can access the Premium features by looking at the search box in the top-left corner. On a Premium account, there are @ and q: links below it. Also, if you hover over a task and see the note icon - try to click on it and if you can add a note then you can access Premium features.
There are two options to add emails as tasks:
1. Using one of our browser plugins - open the plugin, enter a project and when you have a GMail message opened, you'll see an "Add email as tasks" link at the bottom of the task list next to "Add task".
2. Sending emails to Todoist projects - this issue creates a task from the subject of the mail and a task note from the whole content of the mail. To get more information about this feature, go to the full web-app, enter a project, click on the "Task Actions" gear icon at the top of the list and choose "Email tasks to this project".
I'm glad to hear that it works for you now. Indeed, out plugin needs the unique ID of a Gmail message so it can locate it once it's added as a link. Unfortunately, there are a couple of GMail Labs add-ons that remove this ID from the URL which makes it impossible for our plugin to see what email is currently opened.
Thank you David, I can see the premium links, and have used the "email to task" function. As long as I don't use the Gmail split screen, the email-to-task function is working.
Looking forward to getting to know TD better!
Similar question to above - it says my premium account needs upgrading and finished in July 2013 - however i pay monthly - so i dont see how that is possible!!! I only started the subscription in April/May time!!!

Hello I think there is a certain bug: i have upgraded my account for premium from iPhone and that did not show up on iPad. i assumed that i need possibly to upgrade from iPad manually and as result i been charged twice for 1 year premium account. (reported the problem and been asked to contact iTunes). since i use same apple id and itunes accound on both devices linked to the same credit card, i think it's time to admit there is a certain issue with premium upgrade on multiple devices. normally developers 1) apologies and admit there is an issue 2) offer promo code or similar. - which obviously did not happen in my case. i reported the issue to iTunes. same time i expect that premium account offers a little bit more than just dry message contacting iTunes store or send us receipt and we will add second year. disappointing for the service which costs app $32!
We are sorry for the trouble. Premium is synced with your account (email address) and a clearing of the data, or reinstall, even just logging out and back in again should have resolved any sync issues with a Premium account. There is no extra step needed to activate it on another device.
The bigger issue here is that you made the purchase through Apple, which unfortunately we have to follow their rules, which refunds are done through them, if they do them at all. If purchased through us, on the website or other device, we could have been able to complete a full refund. We try to point this out when making the purchase.
I also upgraded to a premium account today and am having the same issue when trying to import my ToDoist calendar into my google calender.
I've logged out/back in to both my todist account and gmail yet the calender items do not appear. It wasn't any problem to do it on my ical but it won't sync with my g calendar, which I use as my primary calender.
I've also cleared my cache. Am on a mac using firefox.
Any other ideas on what to do next?
To clarify, you aren't able to add the iCal feed URL to Google Calendar, or it's now not syncing? As unfortunately, with Google it will only sync once a day, which could seem like it's not syncing.

I've added it to the Google Calendar but yes, it's not syncing. I guess it's a matter of giving it some time - I did watch the video and followed the directions as mentioned in it.
Please try to add the iCal feed to the calendar and as you'll see the yellow "Importing from URL" message, close the calendar. It will attempt to sync in the background and next time you access it after some time, all tasks will be synced.
Also, please note that Google only refreshes the iCal feeds once a day.
