Todoist vs Wedoist

To whom it may concern:

I'm currently using 'Todoist' and love the product - especially now that I can use it on my Android Phone. I would love for my wife to collaborate with me on all the tasks (as she also has an Android Phone). Can I do this on Todoist or would you recommend me migrating to Wedoist?

Please advise.

Hello Heinn,

It depends on your workflow. If both of you want to have a clear overview over each others' tasks, assign tasks to each other constantly, would like to comment on them etc. then you could use Wedoist, but please note that Wedoist doesn't offer any mobile apps right now (we will publish an app in the future, though).

Alternatively, if you only want to send tasks to each other without necessarily having an overview of all projects, you can do so with the "Email tasks to this project" feature. If you add your wife's email address on your list of accepted incoming addresses on your account and vice-versa, you can send emails to each others' projects and they will be added as tasks - the subject as the task name and the content of the message as a task note.

You can also attach labels or due dates using this feature. For more information about it, please access the Todoist web-app, enter a project, click on the gear icon at the top of the list (the one saying "Task Actions" when you hover over it) and choose "Email tasks to this project" from the drop-down menu.

Best regards,

Thank you for the explanation David. I'll stick to Todoist for now until my renewal is due and then reconsider my options between Todoist and Wedoist.
