Add Email as Task in Chrome


Installed plug in for Chrome and signed up for Premium but still can't see 'Add email as task' button when in Gmail, it still shows 'Add website as task'

I experienced the same thing when I first used the chrome plugin.

It shows " add website as a task" unless you enter a specific email.

Once you load an email, it then changes to "add e-mail as task" after you hit the Add task button.

Hello David,

As Brendan said - the link changes if you open a message. However, it's also possible that it won't if you're using a GMail Lab add-in called "Preview Pane". Unfortunately, this adding changes the URL so that if you open a message, the unique ID of this message is not displayed in which case we can't track it and our plugin doesn't know that a message is opened or which one it is.

Thanks to you both. Disabling the 'Preview Pane' add in has sorted it, which is a shame because it was a nice feature of Gmail.
