Bug: can add tasks in android app that can't be viewed in web app

If I have a project "foo" with a nested project "bar", in the android app I can click on "foo" and add a task to it. Back in the web app, clicking on "foo" does not show the task -- it only shows "bar" tasks. If I type "all" in the search query box, the task shows up under the "foo" project, but there doesn't seem to be any way to move it to another project because the grab handle doesn't show up in the search view. I am able to edit the task in the android app and move it to another folder where it will be visible in the web app. This is kind of inconvenient. Also, kind of disheartening that I ran into this bug in about the first 5 minutes of playing with the app!

Hello David,

Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this issue so far. Please tell me:
- Did you create both projects through the mobile app or the web app?
- Does clearing your web browser's cache and app data solve this issue?
- Can you reproduce this issue again? If so, it would be very helpful if you could let us know what exact steps are necessary to reproduce it.

Best regards,

Aha! The issue was that the "foo" folder was actually "*foo". When I removed the "*", I was able to display the tasks inside it.

So if this is as-expected behavior, then it is the android app that has the bug, as it allows you to add tasks directly to a "*" folder.

Thank you for your quick reply! You guys are obviously not american because everybody over here is shopping around the clock on black friday. :-)

Thank you for this information, I will pass it to the Android developers. Projects with an asterisk should work as project groups and no tasks should be added to them.
