Can't use email account


I have changed my email account,, but when I send emaiols to TODOIST it says it does not recognize. This is a useless app if I cannot create tasks from Outlook. I have given up on the Outlook ap, but this funcitonality is supposed to work without the app.

Please clarify - have you changed the email address on your Todoist account and are using the same address as on Todoist to send emails to your projects?

If you're using a different address, it must be added to the list of accepted addresses in the popup window in which you can get the unique project ID.

Please try to add @yourdomain.com (using your email's domain name) as a wildcard to the list.

I am having the same problem. how do I add people to the wildcard list?

Hello Brooke,

Please right-click on a project, go to "Email tasks to this project", scroll down to the bottom of this window and this is where you'll find the option to add email addresses.

To add a wildcard, you can just type @domain.com, that is - no login at the front just the @ and the domain name, for example @gmail.com
