Multiple task at once

After a meeting it's common I have multiple task to do; It should be nice to add these at once, like a cut 'n paste action in a plug-in / web interface

Hello Remco,

Adding tasks in Todoist can be very fast if you add them within a project in which case, using the Enter key saves a task and already opens another input field to type in many tasks in a short amount of time.

If you'd like to import tasks at one, you could try to use the "Export as template" feature (accessed through the "Task Actions" gear icon at the top of each task list in every project) and see how the structure of the exported TXT file looks like. If you would create a file with the same structure you'd be able to quickly import it.

Still, we will of course consider finding a better solution in the future and you're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/218/

Best regards,

I second this. I am starting to use Todoist and right now I have a million things in the Inbox. I would like to select multiple items and file them in a project at once.

Hi Ben,

You an easily move multiple tasks from one project to another. Just hold SHIFT and select the task that you want to move and then select the 'Move to project' option that shows up at the top of the screen. Select the project where you want to move your tasks to and then press ENTER. :-)
