Inconsistency between Ctrl-b and Ctrl-i

When using Ctrl-b, spaces are inserted before and after the cursor (or highlighted text).
When using Ctrl-i, no spaces are inserted.

I prefer the behavior of NOT adding any spaces for either command.

Hello Gary,

thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it. Could you please give us an example of when this behaviour may affect the task name?

In our tests, it showed that it makes no difference if you use the !! symbols to make a text bold with or without spaces and there are no additional spaces added to the displayed task name.

Best regards,

Hi David,

Thanks for that explanation -- it works as you describe.

I used these formatting tools quite a bit, so when composing the task it just throws me off to see spaces inserted into places where I didn't put them.

Now that I know, I guess I will just ignore the distraction.
