CTRL+LEFT & CTRL+RIGHT key shortcuts are reserved

hi,
i use CTRL+left/right key combination in ever editor/browser/... possible. this moves/jumps cursor to prev/next begining of the word.
but you guys have used this combination for left/right ident; and it is anyoing when i want to jump words, test is moving left and rights ;-(
what is the solution?

Hello Edin,

the reason we've used this shortcut is because usually task names are relatively short so using this method to jump between words is usually not necessary.

If you have long detailed descriptions for tasks, please try to use task notes where this shortcut won't indent anything. Also, it's not available in the 7 days view so if you want to edit a task there it won't indent.

Alternatively, to quickly jump to a different word, you can use Ctrl+Shift+Arrow to select the whole text, but also quickly place the cursor at a different position and then just use an arrow key to deselect it.

hi,
ok, i will use ctrl+shift combination, what else can i do ;-)

this is probably a bug:
when i am on home page, where all projects and tasks are shown, ctrl+left/right isnt working...

Edin,

indenting tasks can only be performed within a project. If you use Ctrl+Right/LeftArrow on the 7 days view, for example, tasks will not be intended, but you'll be able to jump through words.
