Snoozing a reminder?

Is there a way to snooze a reminder for a specified period of time?

if you right-click on a task and choose "Reminders", you'll be able to manage every reminder assigned to this task. Unfortunately, there is no option of temporarily disabling it, but you can delete it and then re-add it any time.

We may consider adding such option in the future, though. You're welcome to add a request to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/

I second this request.
The snooze feature for reminders is great and I realize that I can postpone the due date or reminders for the event to achieve a similar effect.
However in some cases it is easier to respond to the notification with a snooze (specifying an amount of time) rather than entering the app to edit the whole task.

When looking at a notification the Android app for Astrid provided a prompt after pressing the snooze button to type a number and select a length to specify the length of a snooze.

with these two fields the user could specify things like:
13 minutes
7 hours
1 day
2 months

Hello Jonathan,

Snoozing is already available in our Android app. However, the snooze delay can't be selected from the notification, but set in the app's settings :-)
