Question re using todoist on new iPad
Just got a new iPad and was going to download the todoist app on it. If I do that, will I have all the same functionality on it that I do when I use todoist on my PC? (I have the premium membership, so I can add notes, etc. on my PC...just want to know what I can and can't do on the iPad.) Also, will it automatically sync with my PC? So if I check off a task using the iPad app, will it be checked off on my PC too?
all your tasks stored on your account can be accessed through any device and all our apps and plugins. Each will synchronize with the server, but may require manual synchronization if you make changes while you're offline.
Unfortunately, our current iOS app has a limited functionality so you won't be able to access notes of perform custom queries. However, our brand new app which will be published very soon will include most features from the web-app.

I am currently not able to log in on latest ipad. Is this because of the limited functionality? It claims either password or email is wrong...with no option to have password sent to my email and no other option.
please tell me - did you use the "Sign up using your GMail Account" option? If so, you'll need to set up a password which you'll have to use on the mobile site and mobile apps. To do so, log into the full Todoist web-app and go to Preferences -> Account.
If that's not the case, please tell me - can you log in to the web-app using exactly the same email/password combination?
