Can't delete reminders on scheduled tasks
I have two tasks that were created with a weekday schedule. By default they had email reminders set on them for 15 minutes before the task was due.
After getting the reminders for a couple of days I found it a little annoying so I tried to turn them off on the original item. I found the spot to remove the reminder but each day the reminder seems to be turned on again. I've tried it a number of times and each day the reminder is back on.
in order to turn off the automatic reminders, please go to Todoist Preferences -> Reminders and choose "no default reminder" from the drop-down list. You will still be able to set reminders to any task, but you won't receive the default "30 mins before deadline" reminder.
Ah, so I can't have default reminders on and still delete a reminder from a scheduled item because it will just create it each time when it creates the new item. That's a little odd because I thought I was editing the reminder for the set (all occurrences of that item), not just the single item. I think the default reminder for the next occurrence of an item should be based on that item and not on the global setting.
Anyway, I turned of the global default and I'll see how tomorrows item comes up.

Please note that now that you've changed the settings for the default reminders, you'll also have to remove the reminder for this particular task if there still is one set up.
