Ticked tasks disappear too fast

A recent update made tasks disppear instantly after being ticked off. This has created a number of issues such as greatly increased the chance of accidentally ticking off tasks and not able to review tasks after they are ticked. I personally much prefer what we had before which was when a task is ticked off it gets a strikethrough and greyed out. Can I suggest we go back to the old way or at least have an option for the user to choose?

Hello Tian,

unfortunately I can't reproduce this issue. If a parent task (a level 1 task) is checked off, it is being moved to the "Get completed task" list at the bottom of each project from where it can be either un-checked or permanently deleted using the "Delete completed" link.

A sub-task will remain on the list for as long as its parent task is active, unless you hold down SHIFT while checking it off which will move it to the history (and it still can be accessed through the "Get completed tasks" list).

This behavior has not been changed in Todoist.

Please try to log out, clear your browser's cache and offline storage data, reload the browser and log back in directly through todoist.com (do not use a bookmark). If the issue persists, please tell me:
- Which browser are you using?
- Can you reproduce this issue in a different browser (if so - which one)?
- Can you describe step-by-step how to reproduce it (for example - enter a project, create a task using the "Add task" link, save it, check it off while in this view)?

Best regards,
