Date changes, ordering are lost
After yesterday's update, the app is unusable!
If I change due dates for existing tasks (single or multiple, directly or as a part of selection) or reorder tasks, the changes are lost as soon as I close the browser window. While browsing the app and even reloading it by clicking on TD icon in upper left corner, the changes stay but disappear as soon as browser window is closed.
Logging out/back in doesn't help either.
The issue exists with both a regular version of the site (http://todoist.com) and HTML5 one (http://html5.todoist.com).
Tested on Chrome (19.*) and IE9 and IE10.
please clear your browser's cache, offline storage and application data (this can be done in Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data, find todoist on this list and remove it).
Please do not use the html5.todoist.com site anymore. Access Todoist only directly through Todoist.com and allow it to store offline data and make sure the version in the address bar is v=51.
If the issue persists, pleas upgrade Chrome to version 20.0.
Did that. It appears to have fixed the issues with task ordering and updating dates on individual tasks. However, seconding the claim made by another user: updating dates on multiple tasks (selecting multiple -> Change Date) doesn't work. Once the browser window is closed and opened again, the dates revert back.
Upgrading the browser isn't possible: we have Chrome 19.0.1084.56 installed at work, and it's locked down deal. Either that or nothing.
Confirmed: if due date is updated on individual task, the update persists as expected. But when multiple tasks are updated (via select -> Change Date), the change is gone as soon as the browser window is closed.
Please fix this! It's not easy to use the app without bulk changes. Especially when you have to make major planning.
using Chrome 19 should be a problem and shouldn't affect Todoist. I've been able to reproduce the issues with multiple select -> date change and have passed it to the developers. Thank you very much for your report and sorry for any inconvenience thin issue has caused you.
