reminders AT the time

HI how do i set a reminder AT the time of an event
example meeting ends at 8:30 - phone should beep at 8:30 - i only see options for 10 min, 30 min before etc -
how can i set reminders to the desired time without altering the schedule artificially (ie entering that meeting ends at 8:40 so my 10 mins before event reminder beeps at 8:30)

Hello tpryl,

there are two types of reminders - relative and absolute. The ones you're referring to are relative reminders which can be set to ## minutes/day between deadline. If you've selected a default reminder method (email or SMS) in Todoist Preferences -> Reminders, each time you add a task with a specified due time a relative reminder is set to 30 minutes before deadline.

Absolute reminders can be set to any task regardless of whether it has a due time (or even due date) or not. To do so, right-click on the task, choose "Reminders" and then pick "Absolute time" from the drop-down menu at the top of this window. Now, you'll be able to type any date/time combination supported by Todoist incl. recurring dates for recurring reminders.

You can also set absolute reminders using the <remind> tag. To do so, simply type <remind today at 6:38pm> within a task name and a reminder will be set to this exact time.

Best regards,
