Hello Pasqual,

there's been a bug lately which has cased some reordering issues and might have affected the order in which tasks are displayed on the search result overviews (7 days, overdue etc.). We have fixed it now, but unfortunately, it will be necessary to reorder your tasks manually. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Normally, tasks will still be ordered by time, priority and grouped by project, though.

If you're referring to the task lists within your projects, you can reorder them automatically using the options in the gear icon drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of your list (or the keyboard shortcuts: "p" or "s").

In your new iphone app that you are developing will it have drag and drop capability to reorder? This is really crucial for me to commit to moving over to Todoist!

Also, I was wondering if there was at ETA for the new iOS native app?

Hello Manoj,

in order to reorder your tasks, please access a particular project, click on "Manage tasks" and then you can change the order of your tasks by dragging and dropping them.

This feature is also already available on our mobile site http://todoist.com/m

The iOS app will be released very soon, but first we will launch an open beta and would greatly appreciate if you could help us testing it. To participate in the beta, simply sign-up at http://todoist.com/mobile_testing for a notification.

Hi David,
Thanks for the very quick reply!
1. What I really need is the ability to reorder my tasks in the "Today" pane on the mobile site/iphone app. This is possible on the desktop version and is fantastic.
Will this be implemented in the newest iOS app?
2. I signed up for the beta and I'm looking forward to testing it!

the first version of the new app may not have such feature, but we will certainly consider adding it as well as other useful features from the web-app to future revisions.

Best regards,
