How are items sorted within the Today view?

As far as I can tell, my tasks are sorted by priority (p1 before p2), which is good. But within each priority group, I can't figure out why certain tasks appear before others.

Ideally, there would be some way to determine which one appear at the top of the p1 group within Today. Maybe there is and I'm missing it?

If not, it would be great if they appeared first in order of the project list on the left (ie, p1 items in the topmost project appear before p1 items in the second project, etc.), and then in the order that they appear within each project (so the first p1 item in the top project appears first, etc.).

Hello Theo,

items in the "today" view are primarily sorted by their due time (so it you're using @ 4pm, @ 6pm etc. within the due date this will override all other properties), then by priority and then grouped by project (and sorted by project_id).

We may consider improving it in the future, though. You're welcome to add a request to our Votebox or vote for this existing suggestion: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/64/
