Hello Makarand,

please tell me - are you using an Exchange server? We are aware of certain issued caused by the change of the email's unique ID when using an Exchange server.

If that's the case, we're very sorry for the inconvenience, we will try to solve this issue in the future.

Best regards,

Hi David,

As a new premium subscriber, the Outlook plug-in was a primary reason for choosing Todoist, so this is a bit disappointing.

Can you provide a status for this fix?

Hello Michael,

We're already working on a fix for this issue and we plan to release an update to the Outlook app soon.

Please note that as an alternative to the "Add email as task" option, you could use a similar feature that could also improve your task management and won't even require using the Outlook app. You can forward an email to a specific email address, unique for each of your projects, and the email subject will become the task name and the content of the message - a task note.

This way you'd even be able to access the full content of the message when using the web-app or our mobile apps.

For more details about this feature, please enter a project, click on the gear icon at the top of your task list (the one on the right side of the header showing the project name you're currently in) and choose "Email tasks to this project" from the "Task actions" drop-down menu.

Best regards,
