How can I force a task to appear in each day's task list, even when overdue?

Hello, I like todoist and think you have created the best task management program I have seen. My one complaint is that I have 4 tasks that I would like to appear in each day's task list, even if the item is overdue. Currently, if I have the task recurring "everyday" and on Monday I don't complete a task till just after midnight (technically Tuesday), then todoist skips the same task for Tuesday and adds it to Wednesday. It, of course, compounds if a task is more days overdue. I would like this record of seeing the task each day, even if overdue on another day. Is there a trick to force this?

Thank you!

Hello Jeff,

unfortunately, there is no option to make an overdue everyday task set itself due "today" when completed, but thank you for pointing out this issue, we appreciate your feedback and will consider changing it in the future.
