outlook instalation

H

After you investigate about 35 productivity apps I selected this they have developed.
I have begun to test from the web.
As I have been using Outlook long as I want to integrate.
Now I have outlook professional plus 2010 14.0.4763.1000
I have Win 7 32 bit

I've tried to install 3 times.
The 3 incompativilidades sometimes arise with the framework files.
Personally I think the framework version you downloaded 4 from microsoft site has some incompatibility with Todoist.
It may be the language? I'm going down in epañol because the outlook I have it and use it in Spanish.

The same goes for the visual studio will not let me install it.

I ask you to help me because I use it from outlook.
Thank you,

Hello Hernan,

please go to your system's Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and try to uninstall OutlookTodoist. Once you do, download the following software directly from Microsoft:

- Microsoft .NET Framework 4 ( http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=9cfb2d51-5ff4-4491-b0e5-b386f32c0992 ) and
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=06c32242-2289-4471-93aa-ce96aa5cbc36 )

You can choose the Spanish language for these tools. Once you install both of them, download the Todoist for Outlook installer and save it locally on your computer and run it "As Administrator" (by right-clicking on the installer file).

If this won't work, try to download the English versions of the .NET Framework and Visual Studio and repeat the process.

Best regards,
David

Hernan,

the link you've posted refers to Visual Basic 2010 Express, does this error occur when you try to install Visual Studio 2010 Tools using this link:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=06c32242-2289-4471-93aa-ce96aa5cbc36

or this link for the Spanish version:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/es-es/details.aspx?familyid=06c32242-2289-4471-93aa-ce96aa5cbc36

and choosing the x86 installment (if you have a 32-bit system)?

Before you proceed, please try to remove both the Visual Studio Tools as well as any installments of the .NET Framework from your computer. They should be listed as "Microsoft .Net Framework..." and "Microsoft Visual Studio..." in the Add/Remove Programs section of the Control Panel.

Next, please try to:
- install the .NET Framework first: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=9cfb2d51-5ff4-4491-b0e5-b386f32c0992
- restart your computer,
- check for updates for your system,
- download and install all necessary updates,
- restart your computer again.

Now, try to use one of the links I've posted above in this message for the Visual Studio Tools, either this http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=06c32242-2289-4471-93aa-ce96aa5cbc36

or this link for the Spanish version:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/es-es/details.aspx?familyid=06c32242-2289-4471-93aa-ce96aa5cbc36

and choose the "vstor40_x86.exe" file and let me know if you still experience this issue.

Also, please note that if you're using a GMail account, you can also easily manage your GMail inbox with our other browser plugins for Chrome or Firefox and access your mail directly through GMail's web client and add emails as tasks to Todoist the same you would with the Outlook plugin. Please take a look at this short video showing how it works:
