Change a project to a task

JT

Is it possible to change a project with tasks and subtasks to a task under a different project? For example, say I have 3 projects that are not directly related. However 3 months later it becomes apparant they are actually 3 of 6 major items to be done under a major project that I was not aware of before.

Hello John,

although it's not possible to transform a project to a task, there are two solutions which you could apply:

1. Transform these projects into sub-projetcs by indenting them (using the gear icon -> Edit name and then either CTRL+Arrow keys or the arrow buttons to the right) and then reordering them under a certain main project.

2. Move all tasks from one project to another. To do so, press and hold down the CTRL key and then select all tasks by clicking on them. Once you select the first task, you'll see a menu at the top allowing you to move them to a different project.

Best regards,
David
