Hello Shankar,

please describe step-by-step at which point this issue occurs.

- Are you adding a task using the quick add feature or the "Add task" link at the bottom of your task list in a project?
- You type a task name, then save it and THEN can't use backspace/delete after you go to edit mode? Does this also occur if you change the project, then change back and try to edit this task?
- Does this issue also occur when editing the newly added task or also any other task after adding a task?
- Can you use these keys before you add any task after opening Outlook?

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

Now today my outlook plugin didn't show up at all. The whole thing disappeared! how would I make it appear again? Within trust center-> ad-ins, this is still a active plugin, but I don't see the interface at all.

Thanks & regards,
Shankar

Shankar,

in the Trust Center -> Add-ins you should see a drop-down menu at the bottom saying "COM Add-ins" by default and a "Go" button next to it. Click on "Go" while COM Add-ins is selected from the drop-down menu and you'll see a list of your add-ins with check-boxes next to them. Activate Todoist on the list by checking the box next to it.

If for some reason this won't help, you can try to remove the plugin completely from the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs (listed and OutlookTodoist) and then re-install it.

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

It was disabled indeed, my bad I didn't see it right the first time. After enabling in COM Add-ins, it is now working. Why did it get disabled in the first place?

I was able to recreate problem I originally posted:
select an email in outlook, then in the Todoist main panel click "Add email to task". If I create a task like this and I go and add some text in front of the email link, then I am not able to use the backspace or delete keys.

Thanks & regards,
Shankar

Shankar,

there seems to be an issue with the add-in disabling itself under certain circumstances sometimes, we are aware of it and are currently working on it so it might have be the case.

As for the issue with Backspace/Delete - unfortunately, I can't reproduce this.

Please tell me - how long ago have you downloaded the Outlook plugin?

Please try to uninstall it through the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs (should be listed as OutlookTodoist) and then install this version: https://d3vr1s9r6o6gn8.cloudfront.net/a7b64068ba19cfdf7c3b9b32905bab8c/as/install_v1.2.rar
and let me know if it fixes this issue.

Best regards,
David
