Links in Outlook Todoist not working!

The links I create in outlook todoist stop working after a few hours. Currently using Outlook 2007 with Exchange 2007 SP3. When I re-create the task and link, it looks like the link is different. Here are examples of 2 links to the same email message I created (subject, which was the same, have been removed):

Is my exchange server changing the message ID? Is there a workaround?

Hello Alex,

unfortunately, this is a known issue and we are still trying to fix it, but it seems that indeed under some circumstances, when using an Exchange server, the message ID gets changed and our plugin can't track this change.

To help us identify and fix this issue, it could be very helpful if you would answer these questions:
- Is the particular email moved to a different folder AFTER you add it to Todoist?
- If it's moved, does this issue also occur even if you move the message first and then add it to Todoist while it's in the new folder?

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any workaround for this issue. However, if you're using GMail and have the option to manage your inbox from your GMail account, you could use our Firefox or Chrome plugin to add emails as tasks through GMail. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,

David, I have a workaround. It seems the message ID get chanced by the exchange server when syncing the ost file.

As a test, I created a local PST file, and copied the email to that folder. The PST file is not synced with the exchange server. I created the link in todoist, and it seems to be holding.

That is what I'll do until there is a fix.
