How can I keep Todoist from opening new windows?

I like to work in a single window except for popups (like sharing on Facebook and Twitter). Every time I click on a task in the Todoist sidebar it opens another new window.

I can set Tab Mix Plus for single window, but that will also affect my sharing popups.

I wish there were options available for the Todoist Sidebar Firefox add-on.

Hello Cheryl,

this should not happen.

Please tell me:
- Which version of Firefox are you using?
- Do you have any ad- ors script-blocking plugins installed?
- Does this issue persist if you disable the "Tab Mix Plus" add-on?
- Do you have JavaScript enabled in your browser (Tools -> Options -> Content)?

Best regards,

I guess I should have added it does that when clicking on a task with a url attached. Sorry!

✽ I'm using the latest Firefox 10 with automatic updates.

✽ I use Adblock Plus.

✽ Yes, I disabled the "Tab Mix Plus" add-on and a new window still opened for each task I clicked on that includes a url. [Many of my tasks include web addresses.]

✽ Yes, I have JavaScript enabled.

*Thanks* for helping!

thank you for clarifying it, indeed links within tasks open in new windows. We will consider changing this in future development. Thank you for your feedback.
