+ Add Question

I downloaded Todoist for Outlook and I open outlook and nothing happends.


There is no zip file as it shows on your video tutorial. I click on the file on my computer, and there's no subfiles as it is shown on the video. I try getting my computer to execute or run the setup and it just tries to redownload it and says it's already downloaded.

Hello Inger,

please follow these steps:
1. Go to http://todoist.com/outlook and click "Download Now".
2. Choose the location where you want to store the EXE file and access it after the file has been downloaded.
3. Doublt-click on it and the plugin should install itself.

If you experience any issues during the installation process, please let me know and post the complete error message here.

Also, please note that in order for our plugin to work, you must have the following software installed on your computer:

If the installation process finishes and you still can't see Todoist plugin in Outlook. Please go to Outlook's "Trust center" (Tools -> Trust Center -> Add-ins tab in Outlook 2007) or to the Options -> Add-ins in Outlook 2010. While you're in the add-ins section, please choose "COM Add-ins" at the bottom of the window and click "Go" then, check the box next to the Todoist plugin to activate it manually.

Which Outlook versions are supported? I have outlook 2003 and have the same problem.

Hello Martin,

unfortunately, Outlook 2003 is not supported. Out plugin should work only on Outlook versions 2007 or later.
