Bug/problem with subtasks?

U

Hi! I just joined Todoist and played with the interface for a bit, and I came across something strange:

When I create a task, add one or more (indented) subtask(s), and try to delete the parent task, Todoist reports the wrong number of deleted tasks. When I try to undo the operation, I get an "Error encountered" dialogue with a snippet of a HTML page source in it that says "Bad Request". The undo apparently worked anyway.

At least for me the problem is very easily to reproduce and happens consistently. The reported number of deleted tasks seems to be the number of parent tasks deleted + the number of subtasks * 2. So maybe subtasks are somehow deleted twice?

So if I delete 1 parent task that has 1 subtask, todoist responds with "3 tasks deleted".

If I delete 1 parent task that has 1 subtask that has, in turn, yet another subtask, it reports "6 tasks deleted".

Hello Carsten,

we have fixed this issue, the task count is now correct regardless of the indent level of the tasks you're deleting.

Again, thank you for your report and sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David
